Purvines Racing Dominate At WORCS Round 1 | Primm, NV

WORCS ROUND 1 | PRIMM,NV

NHHA ROUND 1 | LUCERNE VALLEY, CA

Round 1 of WORCS kicked off this past weekend with great momentum for Purvines Racing. After round 1 of NGPC we knew we had a great team for 2020 and we are excited to get deeper into the season. Both Mason Ottersberg and Tyler Lynn show huge potential in their future and after this weekend we think they will be a threat for the Pro 2 and Pro 2 lights championships.

Mason Ottersberg ended up winning Pro 2 after an hour and a half battle with Mateo Olivera. Tyler Lynn won in true champion fashion by putting over a minute on the rest of the field in pro 2 lights. Justin seeds found himself in the 7th place spot after having an issue off the start and some difficulty with the challenging pro section worcs added in.

Nick Burson also made an appearance at NHHA this past weekend and proved to be a contender for the Pro championship. With a stacked field of pros in NHHA it makes for some intense racing and Nick found himself in the 2nd place spot on the podium.

MASON OTTERSBERG 1ST PLACE

PRO 2

In his words- “I am still in disbelief I was able to pull off a win. It has been such a long time since I have been a front runner and it feels very unnatural. I am on a high right now and hope I don’t ever have to lose this feeling. I am learning every round and trying to apply it in a positive way every race.”

TYLER LYNN 1ST PLACE

PRO 2 LIGHTS

In his words- “The last few laps got super rough for me. I couldn’t find a flow and just felt super awkward on the bike which made it super rough on my hands. Luckily I was able to still put in semi decent lap times and came in to the finish first.”

JUSTIN SEEDS

7TH PRO

In his words- “At about the  half way mark right after the pit I was tired of not making any time up on the guys ahead of me so I decided to start hitting the walls. I made it thru no problem and started making up time but could only make it up to 7th.”

SHARON MOWELL 5TH PLACE

WOMENS PRO

In her words- “Coming from NHHA to GP style racing has definitely been a learning curve, but I am starting to get the hang of it. With some more time and experience I believe I can be really successful!”

NICK BURSON 2ND PLACE

PRO NHHA

In his words- “I was excited to be on the podium and have my wife and kids with me to celebrate. I won’t be at another NHHA round for a little while this year but had fun at the first one!  See everyone at the USDR this coming weekend.”
